The Record: Mind, Matter, and What Happened in 1987

A work of visual art and ideas, "The Record-Mind, Matter, and What Happened in 1987" documents the experience of a performance event on the Niagara Escarpment in 1987 using an experimental visual language. The ideographic language used to tell the story of 'The Record of Gabrielle' is also used to tell 'The Orphan's Tale', a story of the first decade of the 21st century.

Six books within the book include the two ideographic stories followed by a series of correspondences and papers that view the ideographic method from the viewpoint of art and science discourses.
